Authentique Card Sketch

I saw a challenge over at Authentique that I thought I would try.
I made a birthday card using my 6 X 6 bundle of CELEBRATE, letters from Prima that are gray, and stars from Martha Stewart.
This is the sketch that Authentique came up with:

And here is my interpretation of it:

Hope you enjoy it.

From a Sketch on Lets Get Sketchy

Hello,

This weekend I found a sketch from a sketch call on LETS GET SKETCHY that I knew I had the perfect idea with pictures to do for this.  I was too late, but still like the sketch and yes it had a circle that I worked with.

I used an old Pink Paisley line called Vintage Vogue that has all my favorite colors.  I also used some more retirement pictures for my album an had fun creating it.  I fussy cut the back of the paper for the green celtic designs, sprayed a doily with some tattered angels mist and added a couple of flowers from Michaels and came up with this:

Here was the sketch:

and here was my take on it:

Hope you enjoy it.

New Challenge making a Tim Tag

Hi everyone,
I have decided that I need to blog and do more crafts since I have no more excuses.  No More work and lots of supplies, so here is the first of many.
I found this blog, that has Tim Holtz Challenges according to his book "A Compendium of Curiosities, Volume 2".  I have been watching it or some might say stalking and decided this was the week I was going to jump in.  I wanted to make a tag for Kenny and this was my excuse.
The blog is:  Studio L3 and the challenge is 18 for page 47.  It deals with Whitewash Stamping.  Using all of Tim's things, which we know I have I came up with this.  I must say the film strip is not his, but it was attached with the tiny attacher.

I hope he likes it -- it was really fun to make and quite easy.  Can't wait to see what the challenge is next week.
